Homeopathic treatment is constitutional but the remedies listed below are recommended for use in emergencies. Choose the remedy which most closely match your illness. It is not necessary to have every symptom listed in order to bring about a cure. Take remedies of the 6c potency three times a day until certain improvement, then stop taking the remedy. If symptoms continue despite the repetition of the remedy, then try an other remedy or consult a homeopath. Take remedies in a clean mouth, 30 minutes before or one hour after food or drink, try not to touch and allow it to dissolve under the tongue. Remember not to use mint : toothpaste, chewing gum, chocolate, cough drops, etc.

Calendula Ointment | Burns, wounds, cuts, (pain extreme compared to injury), rashes (to stop itch). Natural antibiotic: usually attacks both bacteria and skin viruses like herprs, and some fungal infections. Stimulates skin cell proliferation: prpmotes more rapid healing of wounds.Can be used in chronic skin ulcers. | Use a natural preparation rich
in cerrate, which is brown and smells like old socks. Deep wounds or puncture wounds should be examined by a doctor. For surface use only; do not put in eyes. |
Causticum 12c | Burns, burns that do not heal promptly, pain from burns. | 3rd degree burns should be brought to hospital. Do not use with phosphoric acid. |
Hypericum 30c | Injury to nerves, parts rich in nerve endings like fingers and toes. Excessive painfulness is a guiding symptom. Puncture wounds, head injuries (see Natrum Sulph.), burns. | Prolonged numbness should be examined by a doctor, especially if accompanied by weakness, paralysis or incoordination of arms or legs. |
Ledum 12c | Insect bites, poison ivy, puncture wounds (which are cold to the touch). Itching of feet and ankles after a walk in the bush. Fractures, black eye. | Spider bites, if serious, should be examined by a doctor. |
Natrum Carb. 30c | Sunstroke, heat exhaustion, (if the only symptom is weakness from loss of fluid, then use phosphoric acid, see below.) | Support the person with fluids, especially electrolytes like fruit and fruit juices, soup; patient should be immediately cooled with cold compresses, thrown in the lake, etc., until body temperature returns to 100 deg.
